Background

Gerry Sissingh has been an active participant in the Hunter Valley since 1960 when he worked for Lindemans. His involvement with the Rothbury Winery has been since the first vintage in 1971, in fact before the winery was built. He is an active champion of Hunter Valley wines, especially Semillon and Shiraz, believing them to be the quintessential Australian wine styles.
