Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon

Caesar salad, grilled chicken breasts with extra virgin olive oil and fresh lemon.

The wine is straw in colour with a slight green tinge with good clarity and brightness.

A range of fruit flavours including nectarine, wet grass, and a touch of lime. The complexity of flavours on the palate is balanced by just the right level of firm acidity to finish.

Citrus, gooseberry and honeydew melon fruit flavours, a gentle acidity and a fine elegant structure gives this wine a wonderfully smooth mouth feel and clean lively finish. As soon as you pour it, aromas of citrus herbs and mineral burst out of the glass; a tantalising hint of what lies within.

The blending of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc has proved to be a very popular and successful wine style for Margaret River, combining the gooseberry and herbal characters of Sauvignon Blanc with the tightly wound citrus structure of Semillon giving complexity and body. Traditionally matched with delicate dishes such as seafood, salads or poultry, this is a versatile wine style that sits well with a variety of cuisines.
