Charlotte's Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a tribute to the women in the Alkoomi family. It's a delicious mix of tart green apple and citrus fruit flavours with a touch of cut grass and gooseberry fruit, and shows off this 5 Red Star Halliday-rated winery's skill. It's also and excellent example of the elegantly structured wines of the Frankland River region.

The Alkoomi vineyards and winery of Merv and Judy Lange are located in the Frankland River district of Western Australia's Great Southern wine region. Since climatic conditions are similar to those of Bordeaux in France, it is not suprising that this region produces some of the best wines made in Australia. The name Alkoomi is taken from the local Aboriginal dialect and means 'a place we choose'. The logo represents a distinctive Australian plant which grows in the area
