Serve this wine slightly chilled with chevre cheese, sushi or Thai fish cakes.
Pale straw with green tinge.
Lifted fruit characters of passion fruit, honeydew melon, gooseberry and lemon citrus are complemented with the tang of fresh lemongrass and wild nettles.
The palate explodes with flavours of ripe tropical fruit and a hint of crisp gooseberry. Underlying these great varietal fruits is the subtle minerality of vineyard expression with herbal and spicy notes. The long lingering finish is lively and fresh with lime flavoured acidity.
The Sauvignon Blanc fruit for this wine was sourced from both northern, Margaret River sandy loam and southern, Margaret River gravelly loam sites. The northern fruit, grown at our family owned Alexanders and Miamup Vineyards gives the finished wine ripe passionfruit and gooseberry characters, whilst the southern fruits added herbaceous aromas and refreshing acidity.
