3 Bronze
A highly evocative wine with clear lime and lemon curd aromatics and fresh rapier-like structure. This is a very snappy style with amazing energy and line. It will get even better with a touch of bottle-age.

Palate

Displaying excellent fruit definition, this is a classic example of Clare Riesling at its best. It displays the typical lime, citrus peel and talc notes of Clare Valley Rieslings, with great depth, good acid back bone with good length and intensity of flavour.

Background

Riesling is the most important grape for the Clare region and the Clare examples are some of the best the country produces. They have a tremendous ability to age - starting life in a fairly austere mode, with faint aromas of passionfruit, a touch of lime and a steely strength, then as the wine ages it develops the famous Riesling toast character and greater complexity and intensity. They can age for between 5 and 10 years, depending on the quality of the vintage.
