The Yarra Valley is one of Victoria's finest wine regions and home to some of the most renowned Chardonnays in the country. Their typical trait is refinement and delicacy, with stone fruit, crisp melon and soft citrus characters. This shows all those qualities and more!

Tiger prawns with grilled vegetables and aioli or chicken wrapped in prosciutto.

Matured in french oak for 6 - 12 months.

Pale straw with bright green hues.

Rich varietal characters of lifted white peach with notes of gunflint

Primary fruit characters of white peach flesh succulence are subtly complexed by judicious use of French oak. Clean, crisp fine acids add to the lingering finish.

The Yarra Valley is famous for the high quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines it produces. The Yarra Valley is cool in relation to the rest of Australia's viticultural regions. The region is cooler than Bordeaux but warmer than Burgundy. Elevation varies from 50m - 400m. Rainfall is winterspring dominant, with the summer relatively cool, dry and humid. There is limited maritime influence. The small diurnal temperature range reflects the proximity of the sea. Harvest typically commences in early March with Pinot Noir and finishes with Cabernet Sauvignon in early May. These dates correspond to September and November respectively in the northern hemisphere. Frost is rarely a problem, but can affect the lower vineyards on the valley floor from time to time. With a seven month growing season, rainfall of between 750-950mm (often less rather than more) and restricted water holding capacity in some soils, irrigation is considered essential.
