This wine takes its name from the historic sandstone winery, which was originally built by John Riddoch as a woolshed - long before vineyards were planted. Delicious, white stone fruit aromas with peach characters and spicy hints are balanced by a long rich palate.

A wine that is full of zest and flavour. Excellent balanced acidity keeps the wine fresh and crisp with its white peach characters. Drinking beautifully now and over the next couple of years.

Background

This wine takes its name from the historic sandstone winery, which was originally built by John Riddoch as a woolshed - long before vineyards were planted on the site. The second vintage in Coonawarra took place in this Woolshed in 1896 and since then this landmark building has been associated with fine wine.
