Nose

The nose shows delicate citrus and white stonefruit with a hint of oak and sulfide lift.

Palate

A continued evolution in style towards a more delicate and textural Chardonnay. The palate has the generosity of Chardonnay in a toned down form. The fruit is balanced well with the fresh acidity and slight textural element from extended time on yeast lees.

Background

Vintage conditions: A very cool Spring and Summer with plenty of rain in December 2011. Above average cropping levels and very healthy canopies with all of the soil moisture that was present. Warm weather in January ensured evening ripening.
