Rated 94 Halliday points. "The surf's right up with this wine. Somehow bracing grapefruit and white peach, usually achieved at 13% alcohol, appears at 14%. Oak has barely raised its hand, so this is the vineyard speaking." James Halliday Wine Companion - August 2016

Barbecued herb crusted chicken, served with soft polenta and coriander pesto.

French oakhogs heads.

Mid gold with green hues.

Lifted aromas of roast cashews and toasty oak with grape fruit, wet stone and gun flint - complex barrel ferment characters.

The palate displays the mouth filling and intense flavours of rich fruit. Full bodied, rich with delicious stone fruit flavours. Fresh mineral acidity and a balance of warm toasty flavours on the finish.

Margaret River's reputation as a surfing mecca and premium wine destination have virtually grown side by side since the 1970s. It's not taken long, then, for both to be recognised as some of the best in the world: the sirf breaks for the pounding four metre swells, and the wines for mouth filling intensity!
