Background

Colonel Peter Egerton Warburton is one of Australia's fascinating early pioneers. Between forays to discover pastoral land west of the Overland Telegraph, he would return to his property, Norley Bank. There he indulged his passion for cultivating the vine in his small vineyard - most probably for family use.
