Match it with hard cheese such as some Reggiano or a wild mushroom and venison risotto.

80% new French oak with 20% 1 year old.

Golden wine of brilliant clarity.

Rich stone fruit aromas with melon, citrus and fig fruit complexed by nutty and mineral notes as well as vanillin oak.

South Australia's Limestone Coast is beginning to encroach on Coonawarra's uniqueness. There is no doubt that Coonawarra is this areas most renowned but coming from behind Padthaway, Wrattonbully, Robe and Mt Benson are all proving to be worthy contenders to the heavyweight title. Wines from the relatively new Mount Benson region, in the rugged, remote south east corner of South Australia, are making a great impact with wine critics and on the international wine show circuit.
