Hunter Valley White Wine
The Hunter Valley near Sydney is the oldest wine region in New South Wales, with vines first planted in the 1830s. The Hunter is most famous for Shiraz and Semillon, which age for many years. Famous makers include Tyrrell's, Drayton's, Neil McGuigan and Rothbury Estate.
