Background

Dorrien Estate was originally established in the 1950s as the winery for Woodley Queen Adelaide which went on to become one of Australia's most successful wine brands. Today, it's located halfway between Nuriootpa and Tanunda in the heart of the Barossa Valley. It's a large, state-of-the-art winery with modern crushing, fermentation and oak maturation facilities, producing a wide variety of wines - but only a small, premium quality range under its own 'Dorrien Estate' brand, like this outstanding Rose.
