Background

The soils are extremely sandy, and are amongst the poorest you can use for viticultural purposes. The very deep sandy soils are blended with small chunks of pure chalk. On the surface the sandy soil is blended with red clay to the depth of 1 foot (30 cm). The grapes are carefully selected and are all harvest by hand. Stainless steel fermented.
