Intense black cherry fruit and black pepper with spice, toast and vanillin notes.


Rich and full-bodied with ripe, spicy plum and blackberry fruit flavours supported by fine, grippy tannins. This well balanced wine has a long lingering finish and a classic Coonawarra hint of mint.


Coonawarra holds the pre-eminent position as Australia's greatest red wine region, boasting the most celebrated vineyard soil in Australia, known as terra rossa, a distinctive, albeit thin, band of vivid red soil overlying a bed of soft limestone.Whilst Cabernet Sauvignon is classed as the red grape variety to be grown in Coonawarra, Coonawarra Shiraz has earned an excellent reputation as one of this famous regions premium reds.
