Colour

Deep rich plum red.

Background

The deep Cambrian soils and location on the northern edge of the Great Dividing Range is what gives the Heathcote region its wonderful reputation for Shiraz production. Cooling winds off the Divide and the great moisture holding capacity of the soils in this dry region give rise to wines of great depth and intensity, yet with defined spice and elegance.
