The word 'paragon' refers to a model or pattern of excellence, and this McLaren Vale Shiraz is certainly consistent with this definition. It's a real mouthful of flavour, full of blackberry, blackcurrant and dark plum fruits, balanced by fine grained almost sandy oak tannins. The generous, soft flavours of this wine make it wonderful drinking now, but like all McLaren Vale Shiraz, it will develop well in the medium term.
