The MCR Block range is so named by Mockingbird Hill due to its proximity to McRae Wood Road. Surrounded by beautiful old blue gums, the shallow grey and red loam over slate soil produces the most intense and characterful Shiraz of the vintage. This one has complex dark berry fruits and hints of mint and eucalyptus on the palate, while firm tannins and solid but well integrated oak create a full flavoured structural palate with a long finish.
