Pot roast with all the trimmings.

French and American new and old oak barrels.

Deep dark red with purple hues.

Aromas of blackberry fruit complexed by subtle spicy, liquorice, cedar and subtle mint.

Medium bodied with the fruit aromas following onto the palate. Firm yet fine tannins from the skilfully used American oak and grape tannins add structure and complexity to this elegant wine. Red berries on palate, coffee and mocha flavours. Lovely integrated oak and tannins giving great length to the finish.

While the Clare Valley is at the forefront of most wine connoisseurs for the sensational Riesling produced there, most knowledgeable wine consumers will also be aware of the sensational red wines produced from Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Richly flavoured and generally long lived these wines are easily able to stand proud alongside any top notch Barossa wines.
