Mitolo Furies Shiraz is a bright, silky, seductive wine sourced from our vineyards in the southern end of McLaren Vale. This is outstanding Shiraz country, with the heavy Biscay clay soils producing wines of intense, deep, brooding flavours and soft, silky tannins. The Furies Shiraz has great brightness, energy and purity and a subtle oak influence, with only ten percent of the wine being aged in new barrels. The 2012 vintage in McLaren Vale was fantastic for Mitolo, producing deeply flavoured wines with great energy.
