Background

Our position produces elegant, varietal Syrah with red and black fruits and a more refined mid-palate texture, which reflects the low yields and early morning harvesting which occur during the small window of perfect ripeness. The blend comes from our own estate vineyard on Eden Valley Road, in Mt Pleasant, located at the northern-most end of the Adelaide Hills. R6WV28 and BVOVS10 clones are grown to be perfectly ripe, healthy grapes, low yields, and hand-harvested at precisely the right time to best represent a "sense of place."
