Nose

Palate
Attractive concentrated rich dark berry fruits, choc characters complemented by a touch of toasted nutty oak and vanillin complexity. A combination of these complex flavours results in a soft and generous wine of great flavour persistence, complexity and weight, with mouth filling grainy tannin structure that will soften with further ageing.
Background
Goe Di Fabio's family bought their first McLaren Vale vineyards in the 1960's and two of the properties they own are situated Blewitt Springs, part of the famous McLaren Vale wine region. The Shiraz vines planted there are over 60 years of age and require careful hand pruning and picking. These fantastic vines produce small quantities of intensely flavoured fruit, that in the past were sold to some of Australia's greatest wineries. Goe now keeps this premium fruit for exclusive use in his own named wines.
