Background

The Winter leading up to the 2015 harvest as wet. The Great Southern experienced wind and rain during flowering, resulting in lower yields across most varieties for the 2015 harvest. Summer was cooler than normal, however it remained dry, ensuring slower ripening, and producing grapes of exceptional quality. The white grapes showed fresh, crisp characters, while the reds showcased intense, ripe flavours and tannins.
