Background

"Pinot Noir from Tasmania's Coal River Valley. This is a Cellarmasters wine. It's a damn good one too. It crackles with spice and leaves but it has a core of dark, berried flavour. Varietal to the ninth degree. Lively with acidity, underpinned by undergrowth, autumnal but with plenty of sunshine. Macerated cherry flavour help give it a depth, a presence. Complex already. This will age, no problems, but it's already drinking very well." 93 points, Mike Bennie, The Wine Front, 2017.
