When you're looking for a lighter-bodied red, Ribbonwood Pinot Noir should be top of your list. It's delicate and elegant with smooth berry fruit complemented by hints of savoury smokiness. This makes it perfect to enjoy with so many foods. Ribbonwood 2013 Marlborough Pinot Noir is made from fruit grown on a mixture of Marlborough's stony river bed and more clay-rich soils. The majority of this wine was matured in new and seasoned French oak barriques for 6 months before bottling. While being fruit forward, elegant structure and texture are as important as flavour expression with this wine.
