This well balanced wine carries the name of the French medieval village, typical of the Languedoc, where the castle owned by the Murviel lords is perched. It is no wonder that the sun prints the coat of arms of Languedoc-Roussillon: this region located in the south of France is known for the hot climate, which creates the ideal conditions for growing some strains. There, the red wines made from Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Mourvèdre surprise by the intensity and fruity character, like this Château Seigneurie de Murviel. This vineyard sits on 30 acres of clay and limestone soil which provides fruit driven wines with velvety tannins.
