Lifted aromas of red and black berries and spicy cedar
The palate has a burst of red and black currant fruit with a fine supple mouth feel and savoury notes of black olive and dried leaf complexity. A classic cabernet tannin frame and intensity of fruit will ensure the wine will age beautifully over the years.
Hand picked from best patches of shiraz, typically on the meanest black ironstone gravel soils. Small batch open ferments, hand plunged, 18 months in French oak puncheons.
