Very deep ruby red with purple hues.


Aromas of black cherry and plum fruit, with notes of tobacco leaf and dried herbs complexed by spicy oak notes.


Medium bodied, round and well balanced with ripe black currant fruit with the savoury oak characters.. Firm yet fine tannins add balance to the lingering finish.


Tolley Wines, established in 1892, was an old, family owned and operated winery of considerable size. Despite recent changes in ownership it is widely regarded for the sheer consistency of the quality of its wines, with the prices being just as appealing. The Cellar Reserve range provides value for money Chardonnay, Riesling and Shiraz Cabernet, whilst the Barossa range specialises in the classic Barossa varietals - Semillon, Chardonnay and Shiraz.Recent vintages have won over 40 medals in recent Australian Wine Shows.
