Palate

Fruit driven with blackcurrant, ripe forest berries and hints of spice and vanillin. Medium bodied with soft savoury tannins.

Background

The wine was fermented at a moderate temperature with pump overs programmed for a desired soft tannin effect. Pressing and malolactic fermentation were followed by clarification and maturation on small amounts of premium American and French oak to add some complexity and structure.
