Intense aromas of cassis and dark berry fruit with fragrant spicy hints of smoky, cedary oak.

Palate

Lifted Cabernet Sauvignon flavours carry over with cedar, briar and concentrated dark berry fruit on the mid palate. Firm with a good fine grained silky finish. Excellent length and persistence.

Background

Bob McLean was a firm believer in the the Barossa Valley, and in its ability to produce a variety of styles. He personally could not understand why it was not a focus of more major producers!
