Lifted aromas of earthy, dried spice and black cherry fruit with some tobacco and cedary oak influence.

Palate

Full of flavour with lifted earthy plum and cherry fruit flavours well supported by fine chalky tannins on the persistent finish.

Background

South Australia's Limestone Coast is beginning to encroach on Coonawarra's uniqueness. There is no doubt that Coonawarra is this areas most renowned but coming from behind Padthaway, Wrattonbully, Robe and Mt Benson are all proving to be worthy contenders to the heavyweight title.
