Palate

Blackberry cassis with a touch of mulberry and silky tannins. A medium-bodied wine with integrated complex flavours, smooth tannins and lingering pleasant finish.

Background

2018 was a fine growing season, with warm days balanced by consistently cool nights. It was a relatively dry season with grapes ripening a touch earlier than usual. The first Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested in the middle of February and the last coming in the first week of March. Weather conditions prior to harvest were also mostly dry, ensuring perfectly healthy fruit.
