Complex with concentrated blue berries and black berry aromas, hints of spice and black olive melded integrated French and American oak.

Palate

Dark berry varietal fruit flavours are paired with spicy cedary oak. Firm tannins add structure to the lifted fruit flavour. Full, rich and long on the palate, this wine is destined to improve for many years to come. Lovely bramble and berry flavours. Long tannins with a long finish with slight powdery mouth feel.

While the Clare Valley is at the forefront of most wine connoisseurs for the sensational Riesling produced there, most knowledgeable wine consumers will also be aware of the outstanding red wines produced from Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Richly flavoured and generally long lived these wines are easily able to stand proud alongside any top notch Barossa wines.
