Archway Fleurieu Peninsula Sangiovese 2015 Fresh rich red fruits upfront with savoury mid palate, silky tannin finish.
The Ridge Coonawarra Shiraz 2014 Rich and full-bodied with ripe, spicy plum and blackberry fruit flavours supported by fine, grippy tannins. This well balanced wine has a long lingering finish and a classic Coonawarra hint of mint.
Zontes Footstep Violet Beauregard Malbec 2014 At first this Malbec is Intense, juicy and super youthful "grapeiness" again lots of blueberries. Almost overwhelming. The Middle Palate is generous and quite sensual it is structured despite the lashings of fresh fruit. Really rich and lush. The after palate is flavoursome, rich sweet berry fruits and Damson plum is on top of rolling red fruits and...Blueberry pie! The finish is lush and mouth filling with a glycerol sweetness balanced by gentle tannins and a soft fresh acidity. In Summary this is the sixth consecutive vintage to be released as a 100% Malbec. Sensual and structured this is our ideal Malbec, the only problem being how we can keep some long enough to watch it evolve in bottle.
