Mcguigan The Shortlist Adelaide Hills Chardonnay 2013 "Wild yeast-fermented and matured in new French hogsheads, stirred weekly for 8 months. Gleaming straw-green, it has the length and grip Adelaide Hills confers on many of its best chardonnays, grip giving emphasis to its array of cool-grown chardonnay characteristics." 94 points, James Halliday Australian Wine Companion.

Vinaceous Raconteur Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 This wine will show different flavours across the palate; some will find ripe fleshy black currants and cassis, others will find crunchy sour cherries; but both complement the overall palate with intensity, weight, structure and texture. Along with lip-smacking tannins and fine oak nuances, it can easily be enjoyed on immediate opening or be cellared for up to 10 years.

Teusner 'the Riebke' Barossa Valley Shiraz 2014 "From the sixth-generation Riebke growers, deeply coloured and unashamedly full-bodied, gritty tannins standing guard over wild blackberry fruit. A degree of patience is absolutely essential, but will be rewarded thanks to the overall balance of the wine." 92 points, James Halliday Wine Companion, August 2016
Down To Earth Wrattonbully Sauvignon Blanc 2014 "Has the tart citrus zest and pith flavours of early picked sauvignon blanc; 93% tank-fermented, 7% fermented and briefly aged on lees in a 2000l French foudre (cask). A sauvignon blanc with chutzpah, and worthy of a year or so in the cellar." 93 points, James Halliday
Bleasdale Frank Potts Cabernet Blend 2012 "A complex, elegant ... blend of cabernet sauvignon, malbec, petit verdot, merlot and cabernet franc that spent 12 months in French puncheons and hogsheads. Bright crimson-purple; has absorbed the oak while preserving the cassis fruits and softening the tannins; good length and balance." 94 points, James Halliday Australian Wine Companion.

Glenlofty Pyrenees Roussanne Marsanne 2012 "Gleaming straw-green; the bouquet has fresh straw, honeysuckle and musk aromas that feed through seamlessly into the palate; there's plenty to the wine on the palate now, but it's half formed, the arms and legs yet to be joined to the body. Worth waiting for this to happen 3 or 4 years down the track." 91 points, James Halliday Wine Companion, July 2014.
