Red Wine of the Year Finalists 2019

It’s blind tasting time!

Each year for more than 20 years, thousands of Red Wine of the Year customers eagerly anticipate the unveiling of the six Finalists.

It’s by far our biggest selling mixed dozen of the year and it’s not hard to see why. People love putting their senses to the test by tasting the six finalists blind with their friends – it’s so much more than just a great case of wine!

As well as two bottles each of the six different Finalists, the case has everything you’ll need to host a ‘blind tasting’ with friends:

- Detailed tasting notes on each wine

- Food suggestions

- A guide on how to host a blind tasting

- Brown paper bags to conceal the wines

- Tasting sheets to record your guesses

If you haven't hosted a blind tasting, you're in for a treat...

Introducing the 2019 Red Wine of the Year Finalists

Our esteemed Tasting Panel comprised of Cellar Director, Christine Ricketts, Wine Journey Director, Ben Sweeney and our Head of Wine, Joe Armstrong chose the six Finalists from a field of over 200 wines. With close to 100 years of wine tasting experience between them, it’s not surprising they found such a superb selection of wines.
