Meet the Makers is returning to Sydney in July for an exciting night of wine tasting.


Held in the stunning surrounds of Doltone House in Pyrmont, you'll have the chance to taste up to 60 outstanding wines and chat with the winemakers who made them.

Here are some of the winemakers you’ll meet…

David Lowe, David Lowe Wines, Mudgee


One of Australia's leading wine industry figures, David Lowe represents the sixth generation of the Lowe family, graziers who settled in 1829 at ‘Tinja' in the Mudgee region of New South Wales. He runs a premium, innovative winery and vineyard in Mudgee.

Gwyn Olsen, Gwyn Olsen Wines, Hunter Valley


Gwyn Olsen is one of Hunter Valley’s shining stars, and received the prestigious Gourmet Traveller Wine’s Young Winemaker Medal in 2014. In late 2015, Gwyn became the Head Winemaker for the prestigious Briar Ridge Vineyard and Peppertree Wines, and has recently launched her own label Gwyn Olsen Wines.

Neil Doddridge, Black Wattle, Mount Benson


Neil Doddridge began winemaking at Mountadam, when they were making some the best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in Australia. He has since worked at St Hallet and with Pat Tocaciu in a purpose-built winery they designed for Ben Tidswell. In 2005, he joined Black Wattle and has crafted many award-winning wines since.

Mark Jamieson, Blood Brother Republic, McLaren Vale


Mark Jamieson is an award-winning winemaker, who is passionate about creating wines that are honest to variety and region. Every wine in his award-winning Blood Brother Republic range has an interesting story to tell, which Mark tries to express in every glass.
