In 1914 under the command of General Lockwood Smith-Dorrien the valiant soldiers of the empire, The Old Contemptibles, were forced to dig in. This Tawny is dedicated to them. Made from selected parcels of the finest fruit matured in oak hogsheads, the palate is luscious, rich and sweet with intense flavours of spicy caramel and chocolate.

This Very Old Tawny is dedicated to the spirit of the men who served and fell in the great war.
