Background:

Dorrien Estate was originally established in the 1950s as the winery for Woodley Queen Adelaide - one of Australias most successful wine brands. It is situated on the corner of Siegersdorf Road and Barossa Valley Way, halfway between Nuriootpa and Tanunda in the heart of the Barossa Valley. Today it is a large, state of the art winery with modern crushing, fermentation and oak maturation facilities, producing a wide variety of wines but only a small, premium quality range under the Dorrien Estate brand. These are centered around a number of products; the drink now Premium Selection range, the value for money Bin products - Bin 7 Cabernet Shiraz and Bin 6 Chardonnay Semillon, the super premium Growers range and the Iconic Bin 1 wines.
