Nose: Lifted aromas of black berry-like fruit with hints of mint, earth and mocha oak.
Palate: A real mouthfull of flavour, blackberry, blackcurrant and dark plum fruits balanced by fine grained almost sandy oak tannins. The finish is long and stylish.

Background:

McLaren Vale in South Australia, is a beautiful region with rivers, olive groves and forests, all adding charm to surrounding vineyards. Here the climate is mild with cooling winds that sweep in from the Gulf of St Vincent. McLaren Vale is famous for its richly flavoured, dry red wines, especially those made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes.
