Nose: Deep dark fruit scents, lifted spice and fragrant perfume notes.
Palate: Blackberry, blueberry and sour cherry fruits mingle with clove-like spice and brambly, tobacco-leaf, earthy notes on a mid-weight palate that is incredibly supple, gentle and long. Its all class and style, vibrant and filled with vitality, appealing right now but showing all the hallmarks of age-worthiness eight to ten years or more.

Background:

Mount Horrocks Wines is operated by proprietor winemaker Stephanie Toole, who restricts production to approximately 4,500 cases per annum to achieve her aims of quality and single vineyard expression. With an emphasis on sustainable natural farming and organic practices, Mount Horrocks Wines has vineyards at three sites totalling 10 hectares in the Clare Valley.
