Background:

In 1853 Joseph Drayton journeyed to Pokolbin where he purchased 80 acres of land, cleared it and built the historical Bellevue homestead. Later that decade he planted his first vines in the rich loam soil ... and the rest is truly history. Today Drayton's produces wines from the Hunter Valley, and wine regions across the country. This one is crafted from grapes grown in select vineyards across South Eastern Australia.
