Background:

Dorrien Estate was originally established in the 1950's as the winery for Woodley Queen Adelaide - one of Australia's most successful wine brands. It is situated on the corner of Siegersdorf Road and Barossa Valley Way, halfway between Nuriootpa and Tanunda in the heart of the Barossa Valley. Today it is a large, state of the art winery with modern crushing, fermentation and oak maturation facilities, producing a wide variety of wines but only a small, premium quality range under the 'Dorrien Estate' brand. This is a no-nonsense Cabernet that is big on flavour and body.
