Background:

Ah, Pinot Noir! Many a winemaker has succumbed to her ethereal beauty only to be left heartbroken by her fickle nature. No wonder the grapes affectionately (or perhaps not!) known as the heartbreak grape. No grape variety can promise so much yet consistently deliver so little and this is why the worlds most expensive wine is Pinot (Grand Cru from Frances Burgundy region) and conventional wisdom says you cant find a decent one for under $40. Thankfully, theres an exception to every rule and this is it. Download as PDF
