Background:

Verdelho is one of the white wine varieties gaining popularity in Australia for its flavoursome, full-bodied nature which makes it a good alternative to Chardonnay; you get good flavour but more elegance. It thrives in warm regions such as the Hunter Valley where the soil structure is terrific and the benefits are seen in the finished wines. This shows lifted tropical fruit aromas with an interesting spice twist to tantalise the nose, while the well-balanced palate serves up plenty of fruit flavour with crisp, cleansing acids.

Not as sweet as I thought, but still quite palatable.

First and only Wine Club, no complaints and don't intend to look elsewhere. Always very accommodating to my requests for service, assistance or account enquiries. Keep up the great work. PS. I like the fact there is an association with the Rewards Card and Frequent Flyers.
