Foods: A perfect BBQ wine, try it with some sundried tomato sausages fried onion.
Oak: Subtle use of oak.
Colour: Deep purple with youthful hues.
Nose: On the nose there are lovely aromas of blackberries, blackcurrant, cherries and tobacco spice.
Palate: On the palate the wine is soft, medium bodied with perfumed berry flavours, and lovely soft sweet tobacco characters and completed by fine tannins.

Background:

Playing an integral role in the traditions of Rothbury Estate, the Vintage Bell was hung in 1970 on the east wall of the Winery and is tolled by the chief Winemaker to announce the commencement and completion of each vintage.
