Background:

The Aurora Vineyard is focused on expressing the essence of Bendigo, Central Otago, New Zealand. We only use grapes grown and hand harvested from our own vineyard, follow sustainable grape growing practices and have a philosophy of minimal intervention in the winery. The fruit for this release was harvested on the 15th and 16th of April 2009 at 25 brix; rigorous bunch thinning resulted in a yield of 5 tonnes per hectare.. The wine was aged in French Oak barriques (32% new) for approximately 10 months. The wine underwent a light egg-white fining to soften the tannins. Download as PDF
