The Mount Gambier region in the bottom south east corner of SA has a cool moderate climate producing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Adelaide Hills, only 20 minutes away from Adelaide’s CBD, produces exceptionally fine, elegant wines, especially Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. In the Southern Flinders Ranges surrounding the towns of Gladstone, Port Pirie and Jamestown, produces ripe, flavoursome Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz. Port Germain, about 3 hours’ drive from the Barossa Valley, has a warm to hot climate that produces easy drinking wines
