The Cellarmasters site requires the use of
cookies, Javascript, and SSL version 2 (Secure Sockets Layer). Information
on how to set these in your browser are below. You may also have
difficulties on the Cellarmasters site if you are using a 'Proxy
Server'. If so, you could try disabling proxy server settings (information
also below), although you may like to re-enable them when browsing
non-secure sites. The Cellarmasters Club site supports the use of
Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher, and Netscape Navigator 4.0 and
higher. If you don't know which version you are running, you can
go to the Help menu in your browser, and choose 'About'.
Enable Cookies
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6
1. Go to Tools, click Internet Options.
2. Click on the Privacy tab.
3. Ensure that your Privacy level is set to Medium or below, which
will enable cookies in your browser.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5
1. Go to Tools, click Internet Options.
2. Click on the Security tab.
3. Click Custom Level.
4. Scroll down to the word 'Cookies'.
5. Scroll down to 'Allow cookies that are stored on your computer'.
6. Choose Enable.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4
1. Go to View, Internet Options.
2. Click on the Advanced tab.
3. Scroll down the list of options and find the Security section.
4. In the security section there is a subsection on cookies, make
sure either 'Prompt before accepting cookies' or 'Always accept
cookies' are checked on.
Enable JavaScript
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and 6
1. Go to Tools, click Internet Options.
2. Click on the Security tab.
3. Click Custom Level.
4. Scroll to the Scripting options, and Enable Active Scripting.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4
1. Go to View, Internet Options.
2. Click on the Security tab.
3. If your security setting is on Custom, then click on the Settings
button; Scroll down to the Scripting section and ensure Active
Scripting is set on Enable.
Enable SSL version 2 (Secure
Sockets Layer)
1. In Internet Explorer 4, click Internet Options on the View
menu. In Internet Explorer 5 and 6, click Internet Options on
the Tools menu.
2. Click on the Advanced tab.
3. Scroll down the list of options and find the Security section.
4. Make sure SSL 2.0 is checked on.
To Turn Off Proxy Settings
(only if having problems with the site):
1. In Internet Explorer 4 click Internet Options on the View menu.
In Internet Explorer 5 and 6, click Internet Options on the Tools
menu.
2. Select the Connections tab.
3. Change your dial up or LAN setting and then deselect use proxy
for your connection.

1. Go to Edit, Preferences.
2. Click on Privacy and Security.
3. Select Enable All Cookies
Netscape Navigator 4 and 5
1. Go to Edit, Preferences.
2. Click on Advanced.
3. Under Cookies, click Accept All Cookies.
Enable JavaScript
Netscape Navigator 4, 5, 6 and 7
1. Go to Edit, Preferences.
2. Click on Advanced.
3. Select Enable Java and Enable JavaScript for Navigator.
Enable SSL version 2 (Secure
Sockets Layer)
Netscape Navigator 6 and 7
1. Go to Tools, Preferences.
2. Click on Privacy and Security.
3. Go to SSL then select SSL version 2.
Netscape Navigator 4 and 5
1. Go to Window, Security Info.
2. Choose Navigator and then enable SSL v2.
To Turn Off Proxy Settings
(only if having problems with the site):
1. Go to Edit, Preferences in Netscape Navigator.
2. Click on Advanced.
3. Click on Proxies sub section under Advanced Select the 'Direct
Connection to the Internet' option.
Mac Differences
If you are using a Mac, there may be some small set up differences,
especially if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Enable Cookies for Microsoft Internet Explorer
4 and 5 on a Mac
1. Select Edit then go to Preferences.
2. Scroll down and click on Cookies.
3. For the 'When Receiving Cookies' field assign it to Never Ask.
Enable JavaScript for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 and 5 on a Mac
1. Select Edit then go to Preferences.
2. Select Web Browser.
3. Select Web Content.
4. In the Active Content section, check the Enable Scripting check
box.
