Merlot – soft and fruity, easy drinking

Merlot wines are reasonably new in Australia, but are growing in popularity. Merlot is plummy and juicy with softer tannins, making it more approachable and a good red wine for white wine drinkers.

Merlot is easy drinking. It's also very adaptable, going well with a variety of red meats such as lamb, as well as tomato pasta dishes and cheeses.
